H1N1 Influenza Vaccinations (“swine flu”)
The Athens City-County Health Department is giving H1N1 flu vaccinations to:
Children older than 6 months, adolescents, and adults who are well or have chronic medical conditions.
Come to our regular immunization clinics on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from 8am to 11am, and 1pm to 3pm, or by appointment (call 592-4431, extension 0.)
All eligible children and adolescents must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Please call the Health Department with any questions at 740-592-4431 during regular business hours. There is no charge for the H1N1 vaccine provided by your health department.
We have received a limited supply of seasonal flu vaccine. Please call us to check on availability here at the health department.
Vaccine for the seasonal flu may also be available from other providers locally. It is not too late to get the seasonal flu vaccine to protect yourself from the flu this season.
