Health EducationCardiovascular Health ProgramThe cardiovascular health (CVH) project at the Athens City-County Health Department is funded by a Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant through the Ohio Department of Health. The project sponsors a School Nutrition Committee, A Health Ministries Network, and the Heart Healthy Community Coalition of Athens County that exists to promote services, awareness and opportunities to improve the heart health of Athens County residents.
